FLATONIA ISD

I began my teaching career in the 4K classroom of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Schulenburg, TX.  I was then hired to teach at Flatonia Elementary where I have taught 3rd grade reading, 2nd grade reading, and 1st grade all subjects.  This year I have returned to the 3rd grade classroom where I will be teaching reading.

My husband and I are co-owners of TGear in downtown Flatonia.  TGear is a team spirit store where you can buy all your BULLDOG fan gear!

Mother of 4 daughters:  Chandler (20), Jaycee (18), Ellie (11), & Braidy (10)

We are Flatonia locals. Two of our daughters have graduated from Flatonia High School, where they were very involved in extracurricular activities and graduated third in their classes.  Our other two daughters are 5th and 6th graders.  I consider it a blessing to be able to teach at the school my children attend.

As a family, we enjoy spending time at the beach.  We are also looking forward to spending some weekends in College Station this year, since our oldest children will be attending school there this fall.  I also enjoy reading, "pinning", shopping, and visiting with friends when I am not teaching.
